F-Technologies (Elmadarsah.com FZE) is a Dubai-based technology company building digital platforms and products across the UAE and the Gulf. Our Creative & New Media team produces official and social video content for a prominent public figure and designs our apps, websites and dashboards. We are AI-native and Arabic-first.
About the role
You own the experience of our mobile apps, websites and admin dashboards, Arabic first. You design in Figma and build working coded prototypes with AI tools, so our developers get something close to production. You also own the team's Arabic type system: the fonts, sizes and rules every product and screen follows.
What you'll do:
- Design iOS and Android apps, responsive websites and complex admin dashboards (tables, filters, charts, roles).
- Build working prototypes in code with AI tools (for example Claude Code, Cursor or v0) and hand them to developers.
- Own the bilingual design system in Figma: tokens, components, dark mode and full RTL mirroring.
- Own the Arabic type scale and font library, including font licences, for products and brand.
- Follow Apple Human Interface Guidelines, Material Design 3, the UAE and Dubai design systems, and WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility.
- Run a quarterly UX audit and ship 1–2 proactive improvements every month.
- Use analytics and user feedback to decide what to fix first.
Arabic requirements (non-negotiable):
- Reads and writes Arabic fluently; writes clear Arabic UI copy (buttons, errors, empty states).
- Proven Arabic-first RTL product work in your portfolio, not English screens flipped.
- Deep knowledge of Arabic UI fonts (for example Noto Kufi Arabic, Alexandria, Dubai Font, IBM Plex Sans Arabic) and how to pair them with Latin fonts.
- Knows RTL rules: what to mirror and what not to, bidirectional text, numerals and line height for Arabic.
- Can implement RTL correctly in code (CSS logical properties, the dir attribute, Flutter directionality).
Must have:
- 5+ years in product design, with a shipped mobile app and a dashboard product in your portfolio.
- Expert Figma: variables, components, auto layout and Dev Mode.
- Front-end basics (HTML/CSS, React or Flutter) and experience shipping code or coded prototypes.
- Daily use of AI in design and prototyping.
Nice to have:
- Motion and micro-interactions (Lottie, Rive).
- Edtech, government or marketplace products.
- UX research and usability testing.
